So we've been making very simple meals the last few weeks. One night we were having some rigatoni with marinara sauce, straight from the jar. Since I am pre-programmed to only eat 'spaghetti dinners' with some type of warm, garlic, bread product, but there was no time or energy to make my favorite bread sticks, I was a little bummed. That is, until I saw the bag of pita bread. I covered a couple pitas with a mixture of melted butter (about 1/2 TBSP. per pita) and some Johnny's Garlic Spread and seasonings. I covered the whole thing with some Parmesan cheese and tossed it into the toaster oven set at 350 for 1-2 minutes.
Slice it with a pizza cutter and this was a super tasty addition to our very easy dinner.
