I have loved chocolate chip cookies for longer than I can remember. I have gone through several ‘favorite’ recipes and landed on this one a year or so ago. For my cookie preferences, this one is queen!
Cream together until soft and fluffy:
1 c. butter, soft, but not too soft
¾ c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Sift together in a separate bowl:
3 c. flour
¾ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda
Stir flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in 1 ½ c. chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoon onto parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes.
Remove from oven when they are just starting to turn golden brown and let cool for a minute or so on the cooking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
ENJOY!!!
Using my cookie scoop, this recipe makes exactly 36 cookies, and a couple good sized bites of dough for the chef!
