Lemon Treat Drink or Frozen Lemonade

I can't seem to get enough lemon flavor in my diet these days. Must be that we went from PERFECT weather to 90 degrees (way too hot) overnight. Oh well, I guess that's the beauty of living in an area blessed with four distinct seasons. Here's what we drink with dinner on the nights when it it too hot to do much besides throw some meat on the grill and rehydrate.

*1 package lemonade Kool-Aid
*1 c. + 2 TBSP. sugar
*2 -3 lemons, zested and juiced

Stir together and add water as per package instructions. Once all mixed together, you could drink it at this point and you'd be happy. However, if you happen to have an ice-cream maker, pour this lemonade into the frozen canister, mix for about 15 minutes and serve...very refreshing!
We usually have a pitcher of this in the fridge from now through September and use it to make popsicles, or if we have some strawberries or raspberries on hand, mash them up and stir them in with this...I'm going to get myself another glass.
