JELL-O Magic Mousse

A few years ago the Kraft Food and Family magazine featured this recipe. I was skeptical about it at first because it sounded too easy, but I tried it and it worked perfectly. Even better, everybody loved it! I made it again on Sunday and the plate was licked clean once again. It's a keeper in my book.

What you need:

3 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (8-serving size) or 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Strawberry, Raspberry, or Cranberry Flavor Gelatin
1 tub (16 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Make it:

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add whipped topping to hot gelatin; stir with wire whisk until whipped topping is completely melted and mixture is well blended. (Mixture will be thin.)

POUR into 10 glasses, or a 6-cup mold, or a glass bowl sprayed with cooking spray.

REFRIGERATE for 8 hours or overnight. If using a large mold, unmold onto serving plate just before serving. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.
